How To Get Your Website On Google In 3 Easy Steps
Are you wondering why your website still hasn’t shown up on the first page of Google? The truth is, it is difficult to get high Google page rankings because of all the tough competition out there these days. However, I am about to share with you the 3-steps I use when marketing all of my websites to achieve 1st page rankings in google, for many high-competition and long-tail keywords. This isn’t necessarily easy, but it is the most efficient and quickest way to make your way to the top of Google.
1st Simple Step: Provide Genuine Content
The only way to get a bunch of traffic going to your site each day is if your site is something that people want to read. Its got to be unique, interesting, funny, informative, or offer something that no other website can offer. You can’t expect to drive loads and loads of traffic to a dull website! If you keep your website interesting, you will naturally receive traffic because people will want to visit your site, and most importantly they will want to link to your site!
2nd Simple Step: Keyword Optimization
Almost as important as the quality of information on your website is the amount of time you spend choosing quality, low-competition keywords. Don’t overlook this step! Many people do because it is tedious – and this is what will give you an advantage! The easiest keywords to rank for are long-tail keywords, being at least 3-4 words in length, however it is possible to rank highly for any keyword.
If you don’t already know of one, find a good free keyword research tool. My favorite is Google Keyword Tool, it is generally the most accurate in my opinion. There are lots of free ones available though.
I always try to find a long-tail keyword with more than 500 searches/month, and less than 5,000 competing pages (when you search the phrase in quotes in google). However, some people look for a keyword with more than 5,000 searches/month, and less than 50,000 competing pages. Either way will work.
Once you have chosen a quality, low-competition key phrase, its time to optimize your webpage for the keyword. This is easiest done by writing a short article with the keyword as the title. Repeat the keyword phrase about 3-4 more times through the article, and you will have it highly optimized for google!
Don’t skip keyword research! It is absolutely necessary to get ahead in google!
Step 3: Obtaining Relevant Backlinks
Even a highly optimized website for a low-competition keyword might not be enough to get your site on the 1st page of google. This is easily fixed by adding backlinks! Backlinks are incoming links yo your website from other webpages. These significantly increase your page ranking because google favors pages with the most backlinks. Its kind of like a popularity contest! The more backlinks you have, the easier it is to get high google rankings – and this is the single most effective way to make your way to the top of google.
Here are some ways you can get quality backlinks: leave links on Yahoo Answers, forums, and blog comments you leave at related sites. Create small pages at Hubpages or Squidoo to link back to your main website. However, article marketing is by far the best way to achieve unlimited backlinks. This can either be done manually (which takes hours and hours of time) or by getting a quality automatic article submission service.

How Do You Build Quality Backlinks To Your Site
An important part of search engine optimization is the ability to obtain quality backlinks. Many things are considered when search engines decide how to rank a website, one of these factors is the number of incoming links. Quality back links can bring your website increased traffic by automatically raising your site’s rank in search engines. In this article we will try to look into 3 different tips to help you build better Backlinks and improve your site’s ranking.
Link Building Using Blogging
The absolutely quickest, easiest and safest way to gain back links is to enroll your website in a Blog Directory. Once your enrolled in web 2.0 sites like Technorati, MyBlogLog, BlogCatalog and literally dozens of other web aggregates, link back to your blog or webpage as soon as your site pings that you’ve posted new content. Once you submit your site, create profile pages, and claim your blogs, you are already getting the hard work done. Sometimes you have to wait two or three days after enrolling for final approval, Once that’s done, you can start to get some automated link juice. Since the Blog Directories themselves have high page rank, the votes they cast carry more “juice” then say a link from your Grandma Betty’s fruit canning blog. Plus, all you have to do is set up the accounts; the rest is done automatically. If you are trying to find a way to build backlinks without a lot of effort, but with great results, this is a very beneficial method.
Social websites are another way to gain quality link backs for your website.
In order to gain ground and attract followers, individuals have been writing and posting on the Internet for ages. Yet, despite its proven record, it is often overlooked by marketers as some believe it to be nothing more than a waste of their time. This is an enormous mistake, as the benefits can quickly outweigh the time spent in writing and publishing the article. This simple way of publicizing is something to invest in, and eventually it will result in excellent linkage. You simply take the time to write quality, original articles about your subject matter and have them hosted through article directories. These directories are regularly being scoured by ezine publishers and webmasters looking to borrow content and if they publish your article, your site’s link goes with it in the article’s resource box. This simple process generates backlinks to your site with little to no effort on your part.
Another method is using local websites.
If your business is a local business or has a certain goal to express its experience to a certain geographical area, it is a good idea to get backlinks from other local authoritive sites in the area as to minimize the possibility of your audience segregating according to their location. For example, if you happen to be a member of some regulatory authority or establishment, you should have a link back from these places because of the kind of leverage you will get out of it. Along with this, look for local business directories on the web so you can submit your business in there as well. These links get heavy volume from search engines and being a part of them will help you acquire long lasting backlinks.
